Abstract

The article presents the reasons for the use in the investigation and criminal proceedings of science and technology, the expediency of consolidation in the criminal procedure law of the concept of «scientific and technological means» ,. We consider how the use of technology issues addressed in the legislation of other countries. We study the point of view of scientists on the concept of «scientific and technological means.» Author, approaching critical to the existing science views on this concept, offers its formulation of the legal category. The necessity in the selection of communication into account the rights and interests of the participants.
