Abstract

The article considers theoretical problems of formation of the state authority concept in the Russian Federation from the historical point of view. It analyses the works of thinkers, political analysts and scientists from the ancient times; shows the evolution of theoretical views on the division of powers; analyses the reasons of crisis occurrence in the power system. The work gives reasons that the principle of state authority division into legislative, executive and judicial powers is specified in the chapters and articles of the Constitution, defining powers and character of cooperation between the President of the Russian Federation, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and its chambers, the RF Government and courts, as well as delimitation of matters of authority and powers of the Russian Federation and its constituent entities in federal constitutional and federal laws, laws of the RF constituent entities.
